Good Morning, Family Part 1

Good morning, family here’s to new beginnings.
As you wake and step into the world,
Think about who you won’t hurt today.
Think about the next person you see,
And how to bring a smile to their face.

Consider everything within your space
Your thoughts, your heart, your sacred place.
Tell yourself, This is mine to protect,
A sanctuary I must keep safe.

As we don our shields and garments
To walk through life’s uncertain roads,
Choose to step out with a smile,
For the world is heavy, burdened, and gray.

But your smile
It just might brighten someone’s day.

I love you all. Be safe.
And may your smile change this place.
