Notes About The Poem

Good Morning Dewdrop

I whisper a touch of mystery
Across your expectant skin
Causing you to smile within
Reflecting on nightly dreams

I caress your eyes with hues
Of gold, amber and hazy blue
Reminding you of my freshness
Beckoning with beguiling dewdrops

I embrace the warmth of a rising sun
Coloring the skies with exhilaration
Sweetening the nectar of peach and plum
Trees that venture to become refreshment

I yearn to breath a tantalizing flow of wind
Across your expectant and naked face
Initiating a sense of anticipation within
Where your heart admires my eagerness

I gently stroke your hand with my affection
Mystery born through longing for satisfaction
Discovered amid blooms that caress the spirit
And welcome the hopes of brilliant and vivid buds

I captivate your thoughts with hints of secret visions
What is to come must be the greatest adventure
Can you imagine this great sunbathe drenching memories
With sweltering ideas created by luminous wisdom

I burn with the craving for more of this feeling
Brought on by my creativity and energetic impressions
Bound up in the feelings felt by new appreciation
For this, my moment, the beginning of this day

I’m morning!
