good distancc

S’ils ne savent garder distance,
Parle au léopard des neiges,
marche en gardant confiance,
En observant les montagnes,
s’ils ne savent garder distance,

Peut être sauras tu rêver,
Dans les jardins de la vallée,
rencontreras la belle Nadège ?

S’ils ne savent garder distance,
Grimpe sur les toits de Florence,
Va provoquer cette chance,
Parle au léopard des neiges
S’il ne savent garder distance ?

If they don’t know how to keep their distance,
Talk to the snow leopard,
walks while maintaining confidence,
While observing the mountains,
if they don’t know how to keep their distance,

Maybe you will know how to dream,
In the gardens of the valley,
will meet the beautiful Nadège?

If they don’t know how to keep their distance,
Climb on the roofs of Florence,
Go provoking this chance,
Talk to the snow leopard
If they can’t keep their distance?

Visual of the snow leopard…a caution, an awareness, a warning. To the rooftops!

It is only right to keep one's distance. Some people are overbearing. Well written Yann

Some do not know how to keep distance. They encroach into our privacy. Such people are to be avoided. Well said, dear Yaan.

loved the metaphorical nature of your poem. Some folks don't understand boundaries...your offer sound advice.

The metaphor encourages a balance between fierce independence and openness to a genuine connection. Advocates to establish clear boundaries, a natural distance so that true, meaningful encounters can happen on one’s own terms.

Hello Yann, I kept picturing the scenes in my head, like little challenges or invitations to trust something bigger than ourselves. It made me think about how often I forget to carry that confidence when I step into the unknown. Autumn Blessings, Yann, Daniel
