Good Bad Cop
I'm the good bad cop,
I'm good at being bad
My partner is the bad good cop,
he's bad at being good
We make a good team,
we put a scare into the bad guys
Both of us love reading them their rights,
stuffed in a squad car,
playing the "Bad Boys" theme
Get you into the interrogation room,
put you inside the Box
Just as I'm about to paste you one,
my partner intervenes, and says,
"You can't do that officer Fox"
He's the good cop,
who keeps me from breaking bad on you
He nicely says he's gonna get you a cup of coffee,
then politely steps out of the room
Now it's just you and me, Mr. Bad Guy
Let me loosen your handcuffs a little bit more
What! You're trying to escape,
take my gun and head out the door
Guess I got to slap you around,
pummel you some,
put your criminal butt on the ground
Looks like you caught a break though,
my partner is coming back
Lets just say we keep this between you and me,
do you need a smoke, are you comfy?
I can be a bad cop on a short leash of good behavior,
but my good cop partner, I don't think he's gonna be your savior
See, when he left the room,
he turned off the video recorder
Let me get a few good licks in short order
It helps me relieve the stress from the job,
chasing lightweight punks like you,
and the heavy-hitter wise guys from the mob
The bad good cop,
got a confession sheet he will want you to sign
I suggest you better do it, before he changes his mind,
and leaves the room again
Which will be bad news for you, my criminal friend
Can I call you friend?
It's all good ... I'm bad just like you
Only difference is, I wear the badge,
so legally, I get to rub your head on the bottom of my shoe
Well, here comes my partner again,
ready to do the good cop routine
You don't look to happy, am I treating you too mean?
The good cop says he has some good and bad news ---
the bad news is: your pal, who is part of your crew, flipped on you
The good news is: Sign the confession, and get the plea bargain
deal first --- it comes with a lower sentence too
I love when my bad good cop buddy twists the screw,
squeezing the life out of you
Me personally,
putting my hands on you is what I'd rather do
It's all good ... 'cause he's bad just like me
We're just two bad apples
trying to do good for the community
I'm the good bad cop,
he's the bad good cop
We're both the same, you see
Two borderline vigilantes,
protected by blue immunity
