Long ago and far away In small village by the sea I sat on the knee of a very wise man Softly he spoke Tales of his youth Stories of his conquests Memories of his loves Wisdom's buried not in words His kindness may have been silent His gentle way was soothing A warrior he could be If a war you should run after His knowledge now buried In a snowy mountain peek I traveled to this biblical land For good advice is hard to seek Nothing, not a revelation did I find I sat tired on the crest of a cliff Seeing the sun rise upon my soul It dawned on me at last I was he
