Gone, Not, Maybe
When you said goodbye
It felt so unreal
But I guess the reality
Has taken more than a year to set
I'm here hoping for a change
I'm here waiting for a better day
Why did you close the doors
I fail to understand this
If it's a joke, it's taking forever to end
I don't want to know that you're gone anymore
It's the tears that fail me now
The sun can't seem to raise up
It's so dark, I can't bare it anymore
I'm so hurt by the last words spoken
There is nothing good about goodbyes
Just a sad word in a wrong phrase
Never meant to be spoken by the same lips that said I love you
The distance is short but such a long journey to take
Can it be the possibility of a changed heart
Let's build the bridge again
For tomorrow could be us again.
