Golden Valentine
Like eternity's reminisces
brushing the day of hearts with golden notes,
puckered cheeks dance kiss
to fox trot the night as twenty fingers
lock in a serenade of violins--
elegant, old woman is she
while his man, a grayish escort oh divine
divine in a night wafting musky air:
twin souls heavenly blessed
fondling aged spines so gently,
to imbue love with moonlit reminisces
that in the nearness of lifetime's end,
both climb inside starglow on flight…
drip-dropping of diamond confetti !
* dedicated to loving couples
celebrating their 50th Valentine.
