Golden Meadow
In a dream, I made it through shadows
Intricate patterns all around
I came across a golden meadow
In the grass, a whistling sound
That somehow soothed my soul
With the warmth of the sun
Where we had met before
For comparison, there is none
I made a path through the grass
Hoping for you to find
Your final way back to me
Into my arms, not just my mind
Because I discover wherever I go
To our places on this land
Where kisses are swept by wind
Like the blowing beach sand...
I wait, longing for you to bring to me
What my mind can't rescind
In this reoccurring dream, I continue to see
