Gold From the Past
gold from the past
Its fools gold I was told
being bold I asked is it really old
“old as you are sir”
that was not called for young man
“yes you are right,, it’s old like coal”
how can gold be like coal I asked
“any fool would know that” he replied
are you calling me a fool?
“no sir, but I did fool you”
you did not fool me, I know fake from real
the jeweler laid out some cigarettes on the table
these are very valuable he said,
How can those be valuable?
he replied, they’re “Old Golds”
