Going For a Spider Walk
I awoke as a spider
With eight legs planted
Steady I stood there
Level not slanted
Which is not bad
With nothing to prove
Until I was bored
And needed to move
Eight legs after all
Were more than I knew
How do deal with
And I hadn’t a clue
I moved the front left
Then shifted two rights
Then two more lefts
But it didn’t seem right
For I spun around
Counter clockwise
And repeated that way
For twenty two tries
Maybe I should go
Right, right, right
Left right left
Then a left, right?
But that didn’t help
I was far from deft
Coz each time I tried
I left out a left
That left me tired
So I went back to bed
Though had a nightmare
About spinning a web!
