Goethe's Path: Forest a Choral Life

Along aisle of twigs, moist brown leaves and stones,

Clustered bellflowers guard as I ramble
Whispered chord echoes from choir of bushes groans,

The rustles, a beckoning preamble

Shady sky-high trees of wrinkled clothed moss

Healthily exhaling thy cool fresh air.
Tongue satiates divine wood spring, I doss.

Finch trembles chanting rosary keys pray'rs.

Built organs from pines tunes mellow reeds

Gentle soothing blows invites butterflies
There flights harmonious lambada speed

Squirrels one fugue pitch share a lullaby

Golden rays peeps through gnarled branches of trees,

Casting apes acrobatic seesaw dance.
Glorious forest homes choral life thee

Who will dare and miss such enthralling chance?

This is surely a path I'd love to walk, especially with someone special. Such memories it would give, James :)

Well done, Olive. Like Cyndi, I find your word pairings intriguing, and quite unconventional. Congratulations!

Hello Sweet Olive... I will have to spend more time reading your poem, again. You see, your voice sounded so like Linda Marie's that it sent me into a sad-nostalgic tailspin. There is a confidence in your poem, a maturity that she, too, possessed. She decorated her poetry with adjectives, unabashed and thumbing her nose at the status quo. She also was very careful with modifiers/pronouns. So somehow she combines ornate with simplicity-- I see a similar quality to your work. Congratulations. GOOD

PS-- I wanted to clarify that your voice is all your own. I see that your word pairings are both original and delightful, and the figurative language? Not like our Sweetheart's. I miss our friend. Keep writing! Awesome!!!!

Paul up above :O and on Craig's blog.. :O so humbled.. :O as I didn't mean too. :) as the inspiration of this write comes from the thought that all things around us have little voices of which sometimes few few are minding them.. :) and I inspired to put this in this theme as the forest is of life..
