Goddess of Thieves
To snatch away those halcyon days
Under false pretenses of defense
To shatter your own convictions
Or to be so deluded by them
Recreate the world as you always did
When God's throne wasnt enough
You took his creations and perverted them
As if the soil you were given wasnt fertile enough
A truly brutal theft, erasing all that once was
A wildfire raging endlessly, consuming ink and page alike
No library could hope to withstand
Such malformed power and misaimed fury
Falconia was your true title after all
A kingdom of lies and stolen hearts
Hiding the true ideals of evil
Underneath such a radiant facade of purity
Lest we forget, it's no noble profession
No goal beyond furthering delusion
Convincing oneself of their connection to the throne
To curry the favor of the ignorant masses
So what keeps you going?
A lust for revenge?
The curiosity of a child breaking its toy?
Or have you collapsed under the weight of your own castle of falsity?
Or is it merely sport?
A career thief furthering their craft
To see what the greatest heist possible could be?
The forest floor littered with hunter's trophies
Given an inch, you've created a universe
A vile fantasy of loathing built on theft
May it crumble like all else you've built
For heavy is the hand that stole the crown
