God, You Heard Our Plea

God, You Heard Our Plea


Dear Jesus, you have heard our plea;
   so many called upon your name,
to find a way, to somehow see,
   to help our friend, her life reclaim. 

So many called upon your name, 
   through church and social media, 
to help our friend, her life reclaim; 
   our plea to help Aleecia. 

Through church and social media, 
   a donor came forth to embrace 
our plea to help Aleecia.
   and gave her kidney by your grace.

   Dear Jesus, you have heard our plea.

True Story - A friend and devoted Christian, in her early
thirties, received a new kidney in August 2015, donated by 
a wonderful woman in her mid-forties, a complete stranger, 
who is also a devoted Christian.  Both are doing fine.
It was a miracle!
