God of Lust
I met a smart aleck who was a god of lust
Got him in my table and offered him a pie crust
I treated him with ale and he boozed
His mouth foamed and sane words oozed
"Go home blessed man and bathe in golden dust"
I went home and gave my fancy a scope
I touched a flower in my garden and it became a heliotrope
The petals were of gold and no nonsense scent
Got a gold of million thalers not a dime was spent
My daughter was standing in the garden swaddled in a blanket of hope
Her father will come to hug and allow her to yank on the bell rope
Of the Sun God temple, in dimpled cheek she sped to my lap
I touched her head I was so mad and got lumbered by puck's trap
Now I had a gold worth a princely state
I worshiped lust and greed and that was the only fate
I had to lose my daughter my sweet princess Kate.
I left home a maniac and crossed the seven seas
Passed a million miles in hell to sleep through hollow trees
Broke my legs and voice choked eaten by the bees
In the night when moon waned I lost my earthly keys
I stood there, head was brattled , like a pampered goof
My god of lust my hell of spoof came down from the roof
Smiled like a bat and brayed like an ass"Do you need more proof ?"
I am Satan say it blatant not a lie you may watch my hoof
My brain was addled but I battled the last battle I could
The first strike I broke the spike and smashed his ugly hood
At the end I fell around the bend I was not Robin Hood
I fought and fought till the blind spot shrouded the lusty brood
I returned home a war torn man
Slow and blowzy in my ken
In my empty den
I kiss my little daughter who is a lump of gold
I tell the world straight and fair don't get into Satan's mold
