God Please Give Me
God please give me the strength
When I am weak
To say the words
That I could not speak
God please keep me from temptation
When I hunger to feed
On the things I desire
Every man does not need
God please give me honesty
When I’ve told a lie or two
Whether I like someone or not
Especially if they’re true
God please fill me with gratitude
When I wish for something more
Than what I already have
Compared to the poor
God please give me forgiveness
In everything I do
Cause all I ever wanted
Was to be with you
Amen
