God Gave Them Up
interlocking rubaiyat
Vain reason enters our showplace
as gender switches some embrace.
Disclosing distorted incline,
our sexuality they debase.
Serving a selfish bottom line
has our culture begun its decline?
God gave up on the Romans for such;
He left them alone by design.
Looking around my world I see
a grand display of majesty.
Seasons, changes of temperature,
prove a power greater than me.
Creation speaks to this creature
convincing me of God's stature.
He provides us wisdom with grace,
hope that redeems our flawed nature.
