God Forsaken Fate
This world
This world
Is so far gone
Every day I wonder
What the hell’s gone wrong
All this corruption deep inside
Every word’s another lie
Broken promises
Are just another part
Of every person’s
Broken heart
We all point the shame
While we’re the ones to blame
We all play this game
Hoping they’ll know our names
Don’t you know that
Our hearts are full of black
Don’t you see that
Hope is what you lack
Have you looked at our churches
Have you thought about what the meaning of faith is
How dare you tell
Others they’re going to hell
I’ll promise you this
Jesus was killed with a kiss
We all point the shame
While we’re the ones to blame
We all play this game
Hoping they’ll know our names
Don’t you know that
Our hearts are full of black
Don’t you see that
Hope is what you lack
I’m so sick of the hate
I’m sick of everyone losing their faith
You’re just a godless soul
You can’t hide from God
In this forsaken hole
We all point the shame
While we’re the ones to blame
We all play this game
Hoping they’ll know our names
Don’t you know that
Our hearts are full of black
Don’t you see that
Hope is what you lack
This world
Oh how it disgusts me
How can men expect women to trust
When they’ll never see past their lust
I’m so sick of the hate, torture, and rape
There’s no hope in this God forsaken fate
