Glowing Within
I will remember
most shades of gray hues
as waves of tears ebb,
staining night’s inked breath
while lost esteem grates;
my heart grows numb
pressed by doubt’s weeds
till glints of light
filter moist eyes...
soft breeze hums
dulcet chime
to whisper,
‘love glows
within
me’
