Glory To God

‘Glory to God and peace on Earth’ The angels once at midnight sang The blessed time of the year has come The prince of peace on Earth is born Let us hail the King of kings Let us sing and blow our horn Christ is born in my heart today Bringing heavenly peace and joy All around is a convivial air And everyone, in a mood to enjoy ‘Glory to God and peace on Earth’ The angels once at midnight sang Jesus left his palace high To cheer the Earth and gloomy sky Lo, the celestial king is here Let us partake of this joy I behold His tender, lovely face! Never a flower so sweetly graced Never has been such peace serene None on Earth, so widely praised ‘Glory to God and peace on Earth’ The angels once at midnight sang Much gaiety, seen everywhere The Earth with rising vigor thrills Colorful stars brighten the streets From every church, merry carol trills Days of fond remembrance have come Of all those whom we love and care This is the time to spread some cheer Among all our friends from far and near ‘Glory to God and peace on Earth’ The angels once at midnight sang With them joined the shepherd throng From every nook, I hear its echoes ring! Dear Valsa, a real carol to be sung with gusto (I tried). Beautiful. I was touched by your sincere faith as hinted in, "Christ is born in my heart today /" Unless this happens, it is just another holiday. shalom, shalom & Merry Christmas

Thanks a lot Anil for your very lovely words ! I feel that without God, I am so helpless! So at least on Christmas, Christ should be born in me.

Doing a poem for the first time to tune with a popular Christmas carol. Vijay, so glad that you liked it and thanks a lot.
