Edward Ibeh Poet Free verse

Glass

glass 
shatters 
into tiny shards,

but so does a heart;
it's just as brittle.
isn't it a pity... 

that unlike glass,
a heart hasn't... 
a "Handle With Care" disclaimer 

inscribed 
upon it?
my friend, be gentle. 

do not drop!
