Ghazal, Light

Night  is my  world   with  the moon  as  my guiding  light
I  search   in  the black  shadows   for  your gliding  light

Day  is your  world   with  the  sunshine   surrounding  you
Before   gray   clouds   pour   rain   on  your  soul   hiding   light

Hourglass  spinning  sands of  time   as  I  dream  of you
Embracing  my  flawed   being   then providing   light

Piercing kestrel calls hunting desirable love
Scanning shadows in the twilight dividing light

The poet's hand glazes the  sky   with  a thousand  waves
Flavoring  haikutwinkle   with  colliding  light
