Getting In the Swim

A chubby man whose name was Jim
Decided that he must get slim
He dived  into the pool
But the silly old fool
Just forgot that he couldn’t swim

Poor Jim he just sunk like a stone
Some swimmers they  heard his loud moan
They grabbed the life boat
And got Jim to float
Embarrassed, all Jim did was groan 

Jim opted to learn how to swim
Then also enrolled at a gym
He lost loads of weight 
Oh boy he looks great
His buddies now call him slim Jim
