on the road to Beverly past Corfu, Smyrna a battered homestead a rusting hulk hot wind, dust storming sky, raging river how much better than backbiting and fear contempt energizes above a crack, the rip bolt over the shoulder Mother Nature's huzzah then silence, crickets soft wind and the leaves sound like rain
