Gentle Sounds

Gentle Sounds


                                      Night time calling
                                               me
                                       linen envelopes
                                               in
                                           nests of
                                       cotton threads
                                             sudden
                            curtains fluttering in empty space's
                                             upon
                                    reflected headlights
                                              on 
                                     rose printed walls
                                            and
                                    rain scented metal
                                             of
                                     people carriers
                                           down 
                                     curiosity roads 
                                           with
                                  sleepy engine hums
                                            of
                                        lullaby's
                                   gentle sounds

David Smith Date: 12/15/2023 2:31:00 AM Gentle sounds stand out in a noisy world. they say noisy classrooms do not produce confident kids as when things are noisy they rely on the teacher instead of thinking for themselves and looking for answers. I was an early childhood teacher for thirty years so read the research.
