Genderless Future
Times are a changing
Some changes are bizarre
Like a baby’s anatomy at birth
Does not define the sex they are??!!
A baby is not born a boy or girl
Just known as “Them or They“
Until the child chooses
When they decide… they will say?
I will never call a human a “Them or They”
Let alone a child
I find it completely wrong and disrespectful
And that’s putting it mild!!
Total confusion for a poor child
To not know who they are
Asking a child to make such a major decision
In my eyes Is just taking it too far!!
Now, I’m not saying what I think is right
It’s just my opinion and “ how I personally feel”
Each to their own in this world
Though I think we need to keep it real!!
Down the track chaos will reign
With this new age way of thought
Complications and issues will arise
Humans completely overwrought!
We all have the right to be who we are
Free to choose and make a stand
I believe and respect we are all equal
Yet this pattern of thought “I find hard to understand”
Filling out a form for a genderless person in the future
Will be quite the task
Some humans will be offended….why would you even ask??
The Question: Male or female?
The persons response:
Oh ,how very predictable
To ask a question so despicable
It’s totally inexplicable
The Answer: Not Applicable!!!
If I have offended anyone I apologise
I’m not saying I’m right or wrong
Completely just my opinion
On an issue I feel quite strong!
