Gathering Pieces of Me
So many times you have hurt me,
creating an emotional shrill
that disintegrates my joy
in a hiccup speed.....
It is by holding onto love for you,
that I have learned how to join pieces
of my broken joy again. I tried alcohol,
bungee-jumping, and sky gazing
to repair my joy, but alas! alas!;
I discovered that love was the easiest
way to my joy's pieces again!
