Garden of Nocturnal Delight a Collaboration With Shadow of the Past

Here in this garden of nocturnal delight
lunar shadows dance on dew covered grass
while mystical creatures hop between the
delicate stems of swaying Gladiolus

Wrapped only in silver rays of the moon
we drift 'pon silken petals over lilac waters
Two hearts speaking in signs to one rhythm
yet, here in our garden of nocturnal delight
it is in your eyes that I am lost

Drawn deep into the forest of your affection
by a soul that possesses a tenderness and
beauty I never knew could exist; showing me 
a world I'd never seen

A world where cherry blossom clouds dance
across a diamond sky while emerald birds
drink from a jade brook

Lying here in the darkness with you in my arms
tears fall as I hear ancient trees converse about
coral butterflies whispering pastel greetings and
beautiful stories of a splendid intimacy shared
