Galley Kitchen Peace

galley kitchen peace
i prepare my cinnamon crunch bagels
i put the blue bonnet on it
i sink my teeth into it
then i prepare the bean and bacon soup in the crock pot
the smell takes me to a place where affordability was king on throne
i steal a taste before it is fully done
then i put the honey glazed chicken tenders in the oven
it is only me, but i made enough for 223
i take another bite into the cinnamon crunch bagel
then i take out the pitcher of pink lemonade
my stomach will tell me how it feels at a later time i am sure
however, after a 50 plus hour week, my downtime is impervious to any type of pain
my open concept is my open mind to my personal relaxation....galley kitchen peace....

Marty, I enjoyed your GKP poem with my coffee. Your poem takes me back to some good memories. I'll have to go out and buy some Great Northerns and cornbread mix now that the weather has turned cooler. -Richard
