When I lived in Australia, voting was mandatory, so you never experienced any of the corruption the USA experiences in controlling who gets to vote, but at least you can see the consequences of our "system"! Aloha! Rico

Well today Trump (finally) said he was committed to a 'peaceful' transition of power - but who knows how long that will last - what happened yesterday was shocking and yet, not unexpected, sadly.

It isn't just Trump, but the GOP has clearly failed the American people! Pence & McConnell waited far too long to show a glimpse of courage. We are still at risk as it only takes the death or absence of one Democrat Senator to restore the GOP, so that party should be quickly dissolved and replaced by parties genuinely concerned with making the USA a better place for all to live!
