Funny, What You Think Is Love

You tell her
that you love her
and you're kissing someone new
on the sly
while she's waiting
for you to come home.

You tell her
that you love her
yet your words and deeds
tell a different story.
First things first,
start with loving yourself

You told her
that you loved her
only to flee
when the going got tough
running off with your mistress
waiting in the wings

So much for...
for better or worse
Funny, what you think...
is love.
