Funny People
You know the ones,
they are usually smiling
and creating some fun,
be it the class clown
or a family member,
a joker at work who
you'll always remember,
Jerry Lewis in the
Nutty Professor,
Carol Burnett making
fun of commercials,
funny old sitcoms like
"I Love Lucy," and
"All in the Family,"
and "Everyone Loves
Raymond," and
newer ones like
"The Middle,"
these are the people
and shows I like and appreciate,
because without them
and having no sense of humor
life would be dull at any rate,
so if you find a whoopee
cushion on your seat one day
thank that funny person
for giving you a "lift"
and a chuckle that day!
P.S. Forgot to mention the people who write funny poems too, you know who you are!:)
