Fun with Words

Some words undergo alteration if you add or remove a single letter from their spelling. Remove the “a” from “paint” and you get “pint.” Add an “o” to pint and you get “point.” Remove the “o” from point and add an “r” the result is “print.” And that’s what happens when you make it a point to have more than a pint and paint the town – you end up in print.

I enjoyed writing this poem. I've always had fun with words and noticing the possibilities they offer when tampered with. Thanks for the stop by. / Maurice
