Fully Covered In Her Red Flowers
Fully covered in her colored flowers
She is read… blood red
Leaves are there, but discreet
Extra-terrestrial she seems
Both from the ground… and from the sky
Surrounded by a hundred pine trees
Sweet Crape Myrtle
Like a moon among the stars
Only tree of her kind
Planted and forgotten with time
How comes it grow here
On these snowy Mountains… with whose steer
Even the butterflies, enjoying her nectar, think
She lives but alone
In a heavy crowd
But they know not that in her mind
She lives on the beach of a wide wild Sea
Even she can feel that Breeze
Even she can hear those waves
Mind is there among its kind
And she is merely enjoying their flight
