Full Circle

I paused for a moment at the scent of a flower Soon that moment became an hour My thoughts turned to bliss the world no longer missed Felt someone shaking me eventually, he just let me be At last I broke off and turned for home though I felt an urge to roam… Next thing I knew I was back in the zoo

A creative and humorous couplet my friend. We all have to take the time to smell the flowers a little before we have to return to our cages.

Circling back to paradise in the scent of a flower! I can dig it! One fave moment for me was in Lurie Garden where a red-winged blackbird was protecting his family, high amidst the coneflowers. The group left and I was noting the bird’s name when his wing drew a warning across my back…lol!

hilarious with a witty, unexpected ending. Somedays I get so engrossed in something that I'm looking at that I loose track of time...then I hear Bill say, "What's for dinner?" Ha!
