Full Circle

Can we be 'alone with G-d?' Is that an oxymoron? Or is it brutally real? Is it only that Man is in search of G-d? Or is it that G-d is also in search of Man? *************** When we are born, we are totally dependent on our parents. Our parents are G-d for us then. As we grow, we come to see our parents' limitations; But do we then move toward G-d naturally? Why, no! We move, in fact we race---the nerve of us!---away from G-d: Stronger, faster, more powerful, more confident, Proud, haughty, conceited, arrogant, Infatuated with ourselves,... Until the day that we suddenly sense our own physical limitations, and thus begin the long, slow, agonizingly painful trek--- humbled now and experientally wiser--- back to our Creator... ...ending in restful death, the ultimate acceptance of life.

Thank you, as always, Michelle. The longer I live, the more life becomes the search for that 'inner Buddha.' Happy Trails! ~ Gershon
