wow, rhonda. I was wondering who could have written this one! simply gorgeous, and I love the way you worked the park bench into the poem as a symbol of faded dreams. Pure nostalgia. Poets should know by now that this is the kind of stuff that grabs me!!

Beautiful imagery with a tinge of sadness. I chose the same photo but imagined a frozen lake under a light layer of snow.
