Frostbite

I have lived way to long
this world has but a strong grip on me
I am a combination
of love and hate
stirred vigorously
the chain reaction left me
unable to feel remorse for all my actions
as of late
I hate being numb
unable to empathize with your pain
it is but cumbersome to carry this dead weight around
I am bound to pay heavily for my transgression
towards the human race
I have inform you in fair warning
that if you touch my heart you will
get frostbite
