Front Fence Springs Forth

All of a sudden it’s spring, Along my front fence. When tulips open it’ll be in full swing, With many colors so intense. The mini rose a birthday gift, A hot house baby that my spirit lifts. Pansy faces make me smile, So cheerful even if frost covered awhile. Each day now one discovers, Another beauty and then another, Spying from under wide tulip leaves, While to the ground they cleave.
