From the Shining Stream - Hunter

The story of the warrior and blue flower devotion faith and love the great power to impress a father and gain the maidens hand but her beauty struck hearts, many a young man but the lovely flower face smiles alike, chooses none for the young hunter it seemed there was no sun but in a canoe under an autumn moon’s glistening river, Hope sparks again a warriors song last arrow in a quiver Doe’s hush their eyes and raven's pale, your silken hair your skin so brown, smooth warm color like copper fair your laughter fills the air, like so many song birds in the night Hope brings father and blue flower into hunter's favorable sight Hunter bids blue flower a last winter’s hunt, for him please wait I will remain true, even if no return, Never will I mate A poem from a warriors heart, the hunter’s dream first night until spring, watch for me the shining streams
