From My Diary: Introspection

I Make the Best I make the best so easily of what the fates have handed me, there's no real need to sit and rue the things I dreamed but did not do or dwell upon life's irony. . . I've sown; I've reaped. And what will be- I can't foresee. My recipe instructs me not to feel "too" blue; I make the best! Each day I find a fair degree of pleasure. . . and there's poetry sustaining me. It sees me through along each course that I pursue. To steer away from misery, I make the best. Wow! How do you do it? (not "make the best", but write such great poems)

Andrea, you are the master of poetry! My high school journals were so negative, so I watch myself, and try to keep the negative thoughts in check! And yes, poetry is so cathartic!!

This write fills me with happiness and hope! You have amazed me with the ease you make a Rondeau seem to be! It is a complex form, and quite difficult, it's funny that I would rather write a Pantoum and you would rather write a Rondeau! This is a fun poem you have written, what a brilliant piece, Great Work!!

Thanks, Jo, rondeau, sonnets and other forms are not tough for me. Writing free verse with really creative imagery is what I wish I could do better. I think of all the forms, pantoum is about the hardest one to do!!
