From Memories To Scars

An after thought, an annoyance Is how you make me feel Unworthy of your time Like your forced against your will The moment that I wake up Your jumping down my throat It's never just good morning This I've come to know Your angry all the time There is no in between And I'm walking over eggshells Or just completely unseen You never hold my hand Or cuddle me in bed And kissing just because Is a foreign concept We use to build bonfires And count every single star Listen to our favorite songs That's made us who we are But those memories burn away and then turn into scars Replaced with silent empty days And home just feels so far My heart is so broken Its tragic at best When the one who says they love you Could simply care less
