From a Distance
Here I ponder ~
beside the silvery sea
looking at the vastness
of the unknown far away~
The distance between us~
who can measure?
The love I have for you~
who can define?
The longings within me~
as deep as obscure abyss;
But my love, you are a light-year away;
How many ages do I have to travel
just to be with you
in one wondrous winter night?
My wings are yet growing~
How I wish they grow so fast
that I could fly
to reach the sky
and sit on the clouds
where your image is carved
for to be with you
is all that could bring me peace~
to feel the warmth of sun again,
to see horizon smile again,
and blow rainbows in the sky.
