Friends With Benefits

I gave my friend a happy smile, she gave to me a wink. I offered her a doobie, she offered me a drink. I asked her out for dinner, she asked me out for more. I took her to a dance club, she took me 'round the floor. I put her in my SUV, she put my mind at ease. I drove her back to my place, she drove me to my knees. I wanted all her favors, she wanted all of mine. I was feeling frisky, she was feeling fine. I loved her all that evening, she loved till break of day. I knew she gave it everything, she knew no other way.

Something i have never had. hahaha. Well, I guess a hubbie counts also as a friend! But also comes with some "not" benefits! Fun poem.

In the words of The Rolling Stones, “it’s just my imagination running away with me.” Hubbies count as do wives, Jackie and I have been best friends forever. Thanks for reading. John

If you met her on "Love Connection", you could go back to Chuck Woolery and the audience and tell them all about the good time you had on your date. Great write.

Thanks Line, after spending 15 years with the Beaver Creek Storytelling Guild here in East Tennessee I picked up a few pointers on spinning tall tales. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. John
