Friends
I cry
You cry
We cry together
I laugh
You laugh
At jokes so clever
My world
Your world
But not together
I love
You love
Not one another
I call
You call
There for each other
Through good
Through bad
And through whatever
My life
Your life
With each endeavor
Our souls are joined
We’re friends forever.
