Friday's Chance
I fell in love on a friday
taking two to the dance
wondering which swing and sway
might be fated for romance
I fell in love on this friday
when there was only one
the other had drifted away
and this chance was won
Oh friday's chance how I thank you so
you gave me this love to know
I fell in love on that friday
we agreed to a late night drink
we talked into saturday
and both of us started to think
I proposed in love on a friday
"last night remember what you said?"
"of course" I lied, hangover hits a sun's ray
"well I accept", as I fell off the bed
Oh friday 's chance how I thank you so
you gave me this love to know
I fall in love every friday
two thousand now have since passed
the one still here, no more to say
fate found me a love to last
