Freedom From Prosecution
I shed my eyes
And forget
Every
Weep,
Every
Darkened Street,
Every myth you leak
Unto these people.
I dreamt of sleep
And forgot
Each
Drip,
Your fingertips,
Each
Pill you slip
Unto these people.
I squandered my lips
And lost
Any
Flow,
Any
Empty Moat,
Any
Wish you dote
Unto these people.
His sickness is sweet...
And slippery.
Pillowed scream,
Kaleidoscope dream,
Caught in a seam,
And
Delivered
Unto these people.
I broke my name.
Uttered
Unchanged.
Uttered
The same
And uttered one name
Unto these people.
I bound my feet.
Bitter
Swim.
Lightning
Dims
And splinters
Sin
Then slips away
Unto these people.
I bruised my skin
One last
Time
Then gained my
Mind
For future
Find
To break the
Bind
That doors cant
Hide
Unto these people.
