Freedom

The ties that bind me to you weathered so many storms I want to go Just want to free fall in my own way find the things I have misplaced if you would just let me be someday we might find a common ground again one day I might feel free again to love what is you to treasure the things we had one day might be a month away I need to breathe I need to feel the love the care the sometimes paralyzing fear wrapped in your cocoon I feel trapped smothered please let me be grant me the freedom to be me

Came back to this gem since it also somewhat intrigues me, how this is the only one with no quotes in the title, i see it as somewhat of a symbol as well for the freedom. I am crazy i tell you! Thanks Missy, I hope your weekend's good and hfd's hugs to your dad! Mwahugs! Thanks for your touching words on my poem...

Its good to look over old writes Wilma; sometimes I see new angles or ideas that way; how is life in Cape-Town?? i hope the sea and sky are blue..' (plenty sun a'shining) over fruiting vines entwining?? enjoyed stopping here to read stay blessed Joe..'

A reasonable request Wilma, we girls always long for what we don't have, maybe that' why we are so interesting or at least a challenge. :) How's my sweet girl, looking good as always!

My favorite line(s) is the, "Just want to free fall, in my own way" this tells the tale here, you must go on, but you want to do it in your own way, to deal with it yourself...to be free! I really loved reading this wonderful write this afternoon! This is an amazing poem my friend, Great Work!!

Hi wilma; Thanks for liking my poem The word freedom means a lot. we should all be able to feel free. This reminds me of a little poem I wrote. If you love me - let me be and if you don't - set me free. Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem.... Lucilla

And I was just about to ask you if you had written anything new, Missy! This is close, you posted something new! I wonder what made you write this and I hope you did get free, seems that you did? I like that analogy, being trapped in a cocoon and what it connotes, metamorphosing into something beautiful...mwahugs!
