Freedom

A force
that has
driven men
since the
beginning of time

The power
to live
your life
the way you
want to

Here in America
Freedom is vast
and plentiful
Taken for granted
in fact

Throughout history
many have died
for it
It is a beacon
for the benefit of humanity

Beautifully written poem. I agree so many take it for granted.

Hey Frank, a wonderful and powerful ode to one of humanity's most cherished ideals. In just a few lines, you capture the essence of freedom as a driving force throughout history. I loved your portrayal of America as a land of abundant freedom, albeit sometimes overlooked, is poignant. The reminder of the sacrifices made for this precious gift resonates deeply. It is a tremendous, timeless reflection on cherishing and protecting our freedoms. Well done! - Blessings, Daniel
