Free Will Vs Destiny

I have often wondered about free will vs destiny, are we puppets on a string. I guess this is answered by who you ask, some say free will and some say destiny. I have been told we all have a life book, this book is in heaven. Is this book about our life, some say yes. Why do things happen the way they do, another minute I would have missed knowing you. What if I had turned right and not left, what would have made the difference. Life is filled with many unanswered questions, free will vs destiny is just one of them.

Well worth pondering. I believe it is a combination of both. The controllable and uncontrollable dancing on the edges of each other. I like your thoughts. Hugs Rick. Good luck in the contest.

Paula, you know this is true. I think this is so very beautiful, your thoughts you have shared with us here. This is part of your book. True. There are people who doubt what the enlightened know. Of course there is a huge library in another dimension unknown to us, but suspected somewhere behind all the white noise of our brain. We are all in books, we are 'books' - and our life stories will be read back to us, when it comes to that time where we inevitably will be asked to watch and listen, not just read. I love this poem immensely. So close to the truth, it reaks of the truth. Beautiful thoughts. Beautiful poem. Leanne x

Thank You, for writing and for your "very kind words." Glad you like this one. Yes, we are all books. You are so right when you said, "the only contest is with oneself and making it through to the other side in peace." Have a blessed day writing away................

I have favourited this poem. It is 'truth'. Surely this poem will win the contest, but if it doesn't....the only contest is with oneself and making it through to the other side in peace. x
