Free Will
Freedom? Freedom to do what?
To leave, to speak, to act unrestrained,
To protest, to oppose, to shame.
Leave, because if love can't stop you
Nothing will.
Speak, with words that can
Free you from my cell
Act as if you never loved me
Unrestrained as cruel as can be
Feel free to protest
And bring up the past
Oppose my every defense
Until the last
Shame my hopeless endeavour
At the top of your voice
Scream at me "NEVER!"
Your free to go, free to stay
But free you are not to treat me this way.
